Verification of Surface Conductance Model of Textile Materials
Main Article Content
Abstract
Surface conductance is one of the main parameters which describes basic characteristics of specific textile materials.
These textile materials are used, for example, in environments with higher requirements on hardware electrostatic
protection during their production process. Published measurement standardized methods are followed by modeling
methods which do not reach satisfactory results. This paper is therefore focused on the modeling of surface
conductance of textile materials. The results show that the structure of textile materials can be seen as serial-parallel
connections of resistors. A derivation of this model is described.
